Delta Dore micro driver 2h pilot wire blows fuse

this heating controller is about 10 years old and has not been used for at least 2. I wanted to set it up today but found it dead. Changed the remote 3amp fuse and it blew straight away. Found a thread on here from a few years ago with same issue but no replies. Any ideas?
