It's a combi microwave bought from Aldi many years ago, which I have repaired already several times, but now it's packed in again with a new fault. A circuit diagram would be useful, if I could find one.
It failed to heat a cup of milk last night, for the first time ever, so new fault to me.
It does all the usual thing, apart from microwave heating. Timer runs normally, turntable rotates, internal light comes on, but no sound of magnetron transformer being powered. A quick test across it's terminals seem to confirm no mains power across it when it should have 240v - or rather it has live at both terminals, perhaps the neutral is switched?
[EDIT] No, I was wrong - it does get 240v across the transformer, so not that.
Magnetron has less than 1 Ohm measuring across it's terminals, irrespective of polarity.
