I have a question DHW water in bungalow. The house is built alreay but, there may be extension being built with an ensuite bathroom. The hot water cylinder is located in the centre of the house, would it be possible to tee into exsisting hot water flow pipe rise up and over the ceiling joists and drop down into new part or would the floor have be chased up and tied into exsisting hot water draw below cylinder level.
thank you.

It should be possible to go up providing you dont go higher than the bottom of the cistern (presuming this is in the loft).

Bear in mind the distance the water has to travel to the tap before it will get hot.
