Afternoon all,
i reponded to a post about cladding a shower area last night, i can confirm it posted ok as i browsed to it on my iphone later and left the browser open - it shows it posted. i came back on today and cant see the post.

I posted instructions and a few links, all were related to the topic and not at all spammy (IMHO)

ive not been notified of anything? any ideas\pointers etc? i'd rather have a telling off than hear nothing - at least then i can stop breaking whatever rule i did?

thanks for the reply. i posted some links to no more ply, and to a tanking product that he could buy from my shop, but it was mostly to show the kind of product he needed. i understand you must get spammed but i spent about 20 minutes typing the post - it wasnt a crappy 1 line spam post, it was giving full detailed advice.
are links generally bad?

Hi TPT, I think your choice of username is a little unfortunate & has probably made Mods/Admin sit up & scrutinise your posts. With a user name like that, possibly the assumption was you were spamming the site (it happens very regularly) & they deleted the links without checking exactly what they linked to. I & many others post generic product links all the time without problems but if you start posting links to products supplied by your company then your going to be in trouble.

ok understood. i'll look into changing my username tonight.
i'm on here with best intentions, i do sell these products for a living so would naturally, if recommending a product hope the purchase would be bought from us - its also a quick way for me to link to good information - well hopefully at least.

lesson learned though, i'll see how i get on!
