A company called R***tfast charging £771 to repair a glow worm space saver. for replacing gas valve and replacing pcb which it does not have.
This was on rough traders on the bbc. Its the same old set up you get the contractor who has got the contract by corrupt means advertises in local papers for gas engineers pays them £10 an hour gets a rented van and sends them on there way.Its about time the directors of these fly by night firms where brought to book have there faces all over the t.v and also corgi should have these peolpe inspected if they close them down they just move somewhere else and use a different trading name and do it all over again yet corgi turn a blind eye.

People should obtain a firm quote before agreeing to have the job done.
I wouldn't give anybody a blank cheque and neither should anybody else.
Applies to all trades, not just plumbing.

CORGI are there to make money, not help consumers or there slaves, eerr I mean members, maybe right first time, forced to work for someone for nothing and no reward and whipped if you complain

As far as the rest goes who gives a shhiitte, nobody secrectly filming soliciters, barristers, doctors, consultants, MP's,TV presenters wages (example ann robinson) footballers wages, where the hell do you think it comes from, antique dealers who totally rely on ripping people off, whats with plumbers/gas fitters ALL THE FEKKIN TIME, ABOUT TIME THEY GAVE IT A REST,

It was a fan flued spacesaver and does have a pcb... and as for the expert who set up the fault no mention was made of the fact the boiler was fitted in a kitchen unit with no ventilation as the bottom of unit was clearly seen with no vent. Scary that people would pay those prices though
