Sorry to be so dumb, but we have always had pop up wastes. I see now many sinks/taps are being sold with clicker waste. Can someone explain the difference?

Thanks :?

From the BES site -
Easy-Seal
Each 'Easy-Seal' waste has a spring mechanism beneath the outlet plug. By pressing the plug down, the seal is activated, press again and seal is deactivated. Suitable for all types of basins.
To see more go to www.bes.ltd.uk and enter part number 15717.

i fitted 5 push pop up wastes , on all 5 of different brands the spring mech has gone and got struck in the trap .

I wouldn`t fit anymore
