Different brands of pushfit

Doesn't seem to be much mention on here regarding:

Polyfit http://www.polyfit.co.uk
Flo-Fit from floplast

I usually use hep2o but recently bought some polyfit white fittings which are sold at B&Q. Thought they were pretty good, seemed a lot more robust than speedfit but there's no mention of them on these forums.

Not seen them. I've asked for a sample.

It's the O rings which bother me. I'd like to see a good quality material (they all use the cheapest available , that I've seen so far), which you can tighten with a big screwy collar, so the pipe won't come out even if the gripper ring breaks. Why an O ring - why not a big high temperature silicone rubber tapered sleeve...!
