Hi all.
I have just bought a new synchron motor for my 3 port valve for central heating.
The old one has a triangular male/female connector with wires, black, white and earth.
The new motor only has 2 wires and both are orange.
Any ideas how I can safely wire this up.
Many thanks.

My guess is that the orange wires will connect across the black and white connections (as its AC the motor will spin the same way whichever way around its connected) with the body of the motor connecting to the housing of the valve which needs to be earthed, although without seeing it it's hard to say. Any chance of posting a pic?
Maybe worth asking on the plumbing forum as well as they will be more familiar with this.
