Hi,

I live in a semi detached house built around 1890. The current roof tiles are slate and approx 200 x 400mm same as next doors, The new tiles I'm looking at are a composite 300 x 600mm. How do I tie into next doors with them being a different size? Is there a special strip or something you can use to bind the two together?

many thanks

Not nice... however Grp as SRE just said. you will need to strip a slate off our neighbours side.. or stop short of the centre line.. CF slates are available in smaller sizes if it helps..

Thanks for your help gents. I'll ask the local roofer if he can get me some 200 x 400 same as the current slate.
He carries the 400 x 800 in stock and i've used them before and they were cheap but it'll save me the hassle of messing around with that jointing gutter.
I don't mind the extra labour.
