I am having a new bathroom fitted next month and changing my old back boiler for a combi at the same time. Considering an Aqualisa HI QU digital shower.

I did a search on this site and there seems to be more problems than praise for this type of shower, is this a fair reflection of digital showers? They are very expensive. I am removing the bath because it never gets used and having a large shower in its place so I need something reliable.

Any plumbers out there with experience of these digitals or any recommendations for any ordinary mixer shower welcome.

Will be discussing it with my plumber later this week, but good to get several opinions.

thanks

I fitted an Aqualisa Quartz digital shower about five years ago. It's the exposed type where the riser is also the water supply and has a digital controller in the loft. I was lucky at the time and got a bargain on ebay - paid £400 for it instead of £700. It's still working well and I havn't had any problems with it. Great shower!
