hello,
Need some advice to help identify a problem with a dimmer switch and four 50W halogen lights.
At full power no problems, anything less than full power the lights flicker.
The dimmer switch is Digitrac 60~400w
The Transformers are KET-60T (20-60VA) dimmable transformers for halogen lights made by Kinetic Products Limited
There is a normal light switch making the circuit 2-way
thanks

Usually you'lll get flicker if there is too much or too little load. At 200W you should be ok.
May be an incompatability between the transformers and the trannys.
Check if your transformer is suitable for dimming using phase delay (leading edge) or phase cut (trailing edge) type of dimmers and make sure your dimmer is the right type.

Running two or more electronic "transformers" from a single dimmer can result in the "transformers" fighting each other for the limited power coming from the dimmer and this causes them to operate erratically and results in flickering.

Thats a simple explanation of a very complex inter-action between two or more non synchronised, low cost switch mode power supplies aka "transformers" on a non sinusoidal waveform supply.

Try each "transformer" on its own with the dimmer to see if dimmer and "transformer" are compatible. If they are then the use of more than one at a time is un-likely to work. One larger "transformer" to supply all the lights may be the only option if you really must have them dimmed.

Better to turn some off rather than dim all of them.
