Dimmer switch

Hi
I know that there are a lot of posts on this subject which are all very helpful but my new dimmer switch has 'Load' rather than L1 or L2 - it also has the ~ and arrow.

Does the switch live go into Load and the red live into ~ ?

I need to earth it as it is metal.
Thanks for any info in advance - if this is on the forum somewhere then please point it out to me.

The LOAD side is where you connect the switch live to!

Take a pic of it and show us then we can tell you exactly
