dimmer Switch

Hi all.

My daughter has just moved house and on refitting some lights have found the dimmers buzz. I have tried MK, BG, Deta & Newlec as well as the the originals.

Any ideas for silent dimmers please. The fittings consist of 6x20W capsules and 2xNVC dimmable 60VA transformers

The unknown brand dimmers we left behind didn't buzz.

So you changed lights and dimmers?
Check dimmer loading ratings and the type of lamps (bulbs) are dimmer compatible.

We took light fitting, containing NVC dimmable electronic transformers, from the old house where they have worked flawlessly on unknown dimmers installed by the housebuilders, the dimmers were left in situ.
At the new house there were 250W dimmers running 3x60W fittings, they buzzed really badly. I have tried: MK, BG, Deta & Newlec of 250W or 400W all supposedly suitable for the above.
