Dimmer Switch

Just moved house and the landing light has a dimmer switch installed.

Problem is it's 2 dim for a 100w bulb, more like a 25w bulb on full.

Landing light can be switched on/off from up or downstairs

dimmer has c c1 & c2 were the wires go in

replace the dimmer then. note what goes where.

For your info, C1 and C2 upstairs are linked to 1-WAY and 2-WAY downstairs.

If you get another dimmer, make sure its not a master/slave type. It needs to be a straight 2-way type.

I wouldn't fit a dimmer on a landing. recipe for accidents, in my opinion.

Fit a normal switch, then an 11w compact fluorescent lamp.
