I have two Dimplex Ultra Slim storage heaters in my flat. One works fine, the other (model XT12) is always really hot (almost too hot) , even when both control knobs (for heat and boost) are on position 1 out of 5.
Any ideas?

Do I need the Thermostat-charge which is Dimplex part number XT8563, or the Thermostat & Cutout which is part XT 9800.
The cutout certainly does work at the moment.
Get the 9800 - This replaces the entire gear tray. The thermostat on it's own does not fit older models, but the tray retro fits on all. The older models are renown for overheating - to the extent that you wake up to a stinking house and plaster popping off the wall IN THE ADJACENT room!
