my recent disasters are mostly paint related , once crouched behind a closed front door glossing the back of it i went off to get some thing from another room leaving my paint tray behind thedoor when i returned the postman had delivered aload of letters through the letterbox right into my paint tray full of white gloss, also people dont clear up properly for thepainter and expect you to paint a room fully furnished e t ci moved a box of papers fromatop a cupboard cause it was so high i didnt see a load of clothes on top of the box ///// all inthe gloss tray fckin horroron my face ,also once stepped off aladder right on to the rim of a pot of emlsion all over a patio , used nitro & bleach to clean it .
anyhoo we all do it occasionally
thelook of terror on a mates face when he fell off the ladder with a full tub of emulsion on someones new carpet , havent seen him since
good luck hammerhead

I consider myself lucky.

In my years trading I have never (touch wood) claimed on my public liability policy , but I have had two accidents.

One I broke my sisters boyfriends brother-in-laws mirror (£50)

Two I was doing an estimate in a bathroom and banged into the door which promptly fell off its hinges! I think it was a little worse for wear to start with: it was only a little knock, but that was £45. AND I didn't get the job!
