Disconnect alarm system or replace battery

Hi can anyone advise on my ‘Cooper Security C0160241’ alarm. The battery has died and I would like to just disconnect completely. If I take off the front panel it will set the alarm off for which I’m assuming I can enter my code to disarm it. How do I then disconnect the alarm completely ?

If battery is flat remove fuse the bell will probably ring for 15mins then cut off,if battery in bell is flat then nothing should sound .

Not All bell boxes have a cut off timer built in. Some older bell boxes can ring for hours if they do not have a cut off timer built in.
Post photo of bell box,this could help .

Is the bell box the outside box or the main box inside which is spring loaded when you take the cover off.
