Hi All

Recently I had some work done at my new place which involved chimney removal. Now, I am left with a gas pipe above the floor with a stop end. I want to get rid of it by taking the floor board off and cutting and putting a stop end to it so its no longer visible.

Could you please tell me what is the best way of doing it considering its a live gas copper pipe.

many thanks

Your only option is to use a Gas Safe plumber to do the job. Gas Safe have lists of fitters local to you, just Google;) DIY gas work is not allowed.

Hi Nige

Many thanks. I am doing just that now. Any idea how much it should cost?
