Hi All

I'm planning on removing a radiator this weekend so I can fit a french door, I've read some other topics on here in how to disconnect but I'm still a little unsure!

To disconnect, Is it a simple case of turning the water down on the raditatior and applying a spanner to the nut to disconnect?

I'm a bit worried about pressure and loss of water!

Hope you guys can help?

Regards

Thanks guys,

Got it off no trouble, Some water came out on the floor as expected but it was a concrete floor going outside anyway!

If you are leaving it off for a while and the room gets cold do not rely on the trv to isolate the water supply get an iron cap and spin it on there with a bit of ptfe
