Disconnecting my gas cooker

hi i am disconnecting my gas cooker,
as long as i disconnect the main gas surply can i just turn the pipe and take it of? or if i turn the main gas surply of do i need to turn anything else of ??? can upload pics if it will help, behind the cooker looks the same as yours except theres cable going into the wall
