Discontinued roof tiles

Hi folks .

My neighbor has a roof tile with a large chunk missing from it . She's tried sourcing a replacement, but no luck as they're 50 years old . Even looked on ebay , but not much on there

I think they're made from concrete with a stone speckled finish . Just wondering if it's possible to patch it up , if we can't get a replacement.

Any ideas ?

There is a reclaimation yard not far from us . I'll get her to give it a try

Martin Edwards at bamber bridge, just outside Preston has a large stock of old tiles. If you go take one with you.

Thanks for the information , guys . That's a great help . Now we know the name of the tile , we should be able to source them
