Good morning guys looking for some assistance please.

Dishwasher is throwing an i30 error indicating it’s flooded. Trying to remove the dishwasher but struggling to undo the cold water inlet. Please see attached photos. I am unable to unscrew the red plastic female portion from the stop valve. I’ve tried it with a monkey wrench but it doesn’t want to undo.

Am I missing something obvious?

Many thanks guys.

Isn't that a push-fit fitting? The grooves on the white part look parallel; not a thread. Try pushing the red part to the left.

After trying to loosen with a pair of Stillsons it’s still not budging. I’m now leaning toward it being a push fit as Alec_t suggests (it certainly doesn’t look like a thread where they meet). I’ve tried pulling the red bit to the left but no movement. Would water pressure be holding it closed? Is there anything else I can try?

Many thanks for the advice so far guys.

Final update, it was of course threaded and it was my stupidity trying to undo it thinking that the red collar was part of the elbow when it is of course part of the hose.

Many thanks for the helpful advice guys and apologies for being dumb.
