Dishwasher - help with waste pipe

Any advice would be much appreciated. Struggling to see how I would connect up the waste pipe from a new dishwasher to what is currently under my sink.

Currently I have a washing machine connected to the sink trap (is that what its called?) and the top pipe that connects is the overflow from the sink.

So how can I get connect the dishwasher too?

I've attached a pic (hopefully that will help illustrate what I've got)
