dishwasher not spraying water when i opened it!

Hi guys

My dishwasher initially wasn't draining. so i opened it up and tried cleaning the pipe and the filter thing the drainage pipe was connected to.

Now when I have put it all back together. I have made the problem worse! and i dont know how i did it!

When I start the dishwasher, it doesnt spray any water in anymore. It just makes a funny noise that it didnt use to first. like some sort of motor keeps restarting.

The mdoel number is hotpoint FDW60

Have you got water in the base of the dishwasher. Tip it back

No I took all the water out. So there's no water at the base anymore. Only thing is when inopened the dishawasher up . I dont kbow what ive done now that the water spray thing has stoppped working

The base means the float tray right at the bottom. Tip it back. It has set the anti flood off.

If the anti flood has kicked in, you should here the machine fill? do you hear it fill.
If it does fill can you hear the pump?
The first part of the cycle is to pump water out, so pump should start, but if anti flood has kicked in the pump may not run.

Well no water what so ever is getting pumped out now. So what can it be. What shall I look at?
