Our IKEA dishwasher has started playing up - it stops mid-cycle and the on/off button starts flashing rapidly. Cannot be persuaded to re-start the cycle.

It almost certainly sounds to me like problems with the circuit board which may possibly have some sort of chip in it which acts as the controller
