Dishwasher problem

Can anyone help please? I have a Diplomat ADP8112 dishwasher. It has recently started making noises like fiteworks going off inside it when running a cycle. I switch it off at the mains, leave it for a while and switch back on again and it runs for a while before making the same noises. The water gets hot but I have tested the element anyway and get areading of 50 ohms.

Any suggestions appreciated
