I am attempting to replace the service kit on the diverter valve of a Heatline C28 boiler. (before the abuse begins I now know I shouldn't have had a Heatline fitted)
The spindle took some tugging to remove and as a consequence the new one is sticking out too far for the motor to be able to fit back in position.
Does anyone have any advice on what I need to do to the diverter valve to get the spindle to fit as it ought to and complete the repair.
