My boiler has decided to warm up the radiators whenever I use hot tap; so I've been told if I turn off 1 valve of each radiator, it should go to the tap. Having done this, two radiators are still getting hot instead of the water. The other valve on the radiators is stiff to move; am I likely to damage it forcing it to close?

This is a quick fix by the way so we can get showers, until I can afford to get someone out to fix boiler unless someone knows if its more likely to be the flow or 3 way valve at fault?

The 3 port diverter valve is your problem.
Quite a simple fix.

In the short term....I've managed to turn all my radiators off so none of them heat up when I use hot taps.....but still no hot water? Is there no way of getting hot water without stripping boiler down? Everything fires up as it should!
