DIY DIVAN

In the 1960s or 70s a friend made a bed using plans from a DIY manual. Yesterday, I was telling my son about it and he asked if he could have a go at making a similar divan for his bedroom. I said yes and wonder if anyone knows of plans for a similar construction on the net. I think, although I could be wrong, that the original was in the Readers Digest DIY manual. Any ideas
