DiY on Narrowboats

Hi Guys

i have a small forum and one question keeps popping up, is it possible to fit out a narrowboat on your own or is it best to pay over the odds for it to be fitted, has anyone fitted out a boat , if so is it cheaper.

it's always got to be cheaper diy as you don't pay labour but will always take longer

the answer to diy or diynot is down to the persons ability, their outlook on life and timescales

some people won't want the hassle and trade is therefore always best.

if your handy and enquiring and don't mind making mistakes then diy is a good option particularly now given the extent of info on the net.
