Hi,
I am renovating a 1950's bungalow.. I've been told it is lime plater but wouldn't know what this looked live vs any other plaster..
Anyway..
We have removed the old solid fuel boiler chimney and the concrete slab that supported it from the kitchen.. The new combi boiler will be mounted up on the back wall and all the new heating and plumbing pipes chased into the wall so I don't want to get the whole wall properly sorted out before then.. I do however need to prepare the site where the new boiler will be mounted..
So I am looking for advice on how to repair the plaster on the area where the boiler will be mounted which is on the right of the back wall in the photo where some plaster remains and over where the concrete slab has been removed.. It doesn't have to be an expert finish because the boiler will be over it anyway and the rest of the wall will be properly fixed when all the electrical and heating wall chasing is fixed in the whole house..

Is there any special consideration if it's lime plaster?
What process/products would I use to prepare and plaster the site where the boiler will be mounted?
Thanks..
