DIY shot blasting a radiator?

As always, my missus took over.
She tried a different paint and varnish remover and it worked!! It was Diall from B&Q and 2 £3 tubs did both radiators.
Once all the paint was off she wire brushed and sanded them, painted with red oxide then painted one with a cast iron effect paint. The colour is a bit marmite but the finish looks great!!
The smaller one is going in one of the kids rooms and they want it white.
