How do they (DIY SOS) get away with painting wet plaster?

They plaster in the morning and paint obviously wet plaster a few hours later.

They tend to use new plaster emulsion as it breathes better, having said that, sometimes its so wet it must bring it off a few weeks down the line.

what they do is quite simple ....ITS THE SAME HOUSE EVERY TIME....they come back the following week and its so sh£$ that it looks like it needs decorating again
