I've finished taking all the rads and old copper out of a 3 up 2 down and after blowing the niffty scrap value of the copper on a fair few rounds of booze, i was left wandering the streets contemplating a heating solution.
I then came across a couple of 22m -> 4 x 10mm hep manifolds in a sunday car boot market and got thinking that the pump in the combi should just manage to circulate to the 3 1st floor rooms and bathroom, as before it was doing the rads to both upper and lower floors without probs ) -heavily scaled and sooty pipes with lots of 90deg bends.
As i've got most of the floors up already, i was thinking of running 4 loops (unbroken) of 10mm barrier pipe to a cupboard in the hallway and just having a passive ufh system until i get some cash for a proper manifold /pump/ set of actuators. thermostats and gauges.
question is, will ALL the water just go round the shortest loop?
