Do bath wastes match up underneath?

Hi all. If I changed my 1700 single end bath for another 1700, are the wastes a standard length or is there a chance they will not match up with the existing waste pipe under the tub? (Or is the final fitting a flexi hose like the overflow?)

Thanks

I think most baths are standard, it’s when you start to replace them with a different type, eg a roll top, or center tap ones. However, the wastepipe underneath will be adaptable, with additional fittings if required.

There's usually always a bit of a difference between the setup and fit that means the pipework needs a little alteration. Very rarely is it a straight swap unless the bath and the fittings are exactly the same.

No the final fitting shouldn't ever be a flexi.
