been peeling wallpaper off, thats been there for 9 years, we have painted over it previosly. I found black spots on one wall and on another there is like a white crystal on the wall by the skirting board and on back of the paper, this wall is on an outside wall, terraced house. the coin bead has gone rusty too, i cant though feel any wetness, we are going to get the walls skimmed but are holding back abit, the problem areas are in the corner of the room and i have thought about a de-humidifer.

sorry mate looks like damp problems you can hiher a moister detecter from speedy hiher which can measure the seriouseness off the problem now you propbley worked out why they wall papered the walls now
