Just thinking about swapping the rooms around in my flat and wondering if I could have a kitchen without an external window or door.

Currently the room is used as a bedroom and only has an internal window going into the bathroom. Could I get away with just some good mechanical ventilation? Or is it a legal requirement to have a window?

Cant be a legal requirement, new properties are built with bathrooms & kitchen windowless

sounds right to me  Would suggest you get a good quality Quiet :!: cooker hood extractor and use this for vent. shouldn`t need `owt else
