At this house of mine, there is an additional entrance at the front and the passage takes you from the front all the way to the garden.
I am thinking of demolishing the wall between the living room and this passage and extending my living room as I don't need/use this passage.

Lol. No, just building regulation approval normally.

Unless there are planning conditions on the house, or an Article 4 area restriction removing permitted development rights.
