Hello
I want to lay Water resistant Click LVT in my Kitchen and Utility Room in one go.
The Kitchen has Floorboards and imperfections which will be addressed.
The Utility Room floor has just been raised (Floating) with Insulation and a 22mm joint Floor. This Floor is approx. 9mm under the Floorboards in the Kitchen, so I will lay 9mm Plywood to match.
I then intend on laying 6mm Ply throughout as a subfloor, then self levelling compound on top before laying LVT click flooring.
I see many threads and wholesalers specifically mentioning SP101 is the required Plywood. Seeing as I'm putting Levelling Compound over with a suita le SBR, is Class 2 Plywood suitable?
I've used regular Plywood in the past with no issues for Tiles. This SP101, albeit better properties, seems overkill and price is high. Do I actually need it for my installation method?
