Hi...
I've turned my mains water off ...I want to drain my tap off so I can service the washers
Does the combi boiler need isolating so it doesn't run dry or would it not run due to low pressure..?
I don't want to damage the boiler by doing something stupid...
Oh Yeh it's a valiant boiler
Kind regards

The pressure indicated on the boiler is a sealed circuit, unrelated to the water that comes out of your taps.

The boiler can still be used for central heating.

It won't heat any hot water, as if the mains water is turned off, there is no flow of water to activate the boiler.
