Hey I am changing some radiators on a vented central heating system. Two radiators are begin fed rom the room behind which is the cellar. The pipes run through the cellar then up verticaly about 8/10inch to the go through the wall were the pipes run about 3foot to the radiator valve. I'm just wondering if I need to put RV 35S maunal air vents at the top of the pipes that run in 8/10inch verticaly in the cellar with it begin a vented system to try avoid air locks. Thanks for any help.

Always but air vents at high points of system and in accesible locations, anywhere air will collect. Can't quite imagine what you mean in regards to the pipework so can't comment on your particular setup.
I think your lack of replies is everyone wondering what on earth an RV35S is! or is just me??

ok sorry thought rv35 s was the name for manual air vents . Its on the ground floor so do u think there' ll be no need for them. as the radiator it is feeding will pulll the air out?
