Does a Hepvo remove the need for a standpipe?

Hi,

I have dishwasher which is not near a sink but is directly next to a soil pipe. Due to the construction I can only connect that waste at a height which doesn't leave much space for a standpipe/trap combo, so was hoping a Hepvo trap might help me out.

The planned layout would be a straight run from the dishwasher to the soil stack with the outlet clipped on to waste pipe with one of these adaptors http://www.screwfix.com/p/hose-connector/48625, short section of pipe, then a hepvo, then pipe into soil boss. The total run is 75cms.

My concern is air admittance. All the Wavin site shows for the Hepvo is when it is connected to a sink, so I imagine it can let air in through the plug hole normally. With the appliance adaptor I don't think air can enter from the machine side. Is this an issue?

Thanks,
Phil
