Does anyone remember Purkdek?

The flat roof on my garage seems to have a layer of this stuff in it - does anyone know what it is? Presumably it's polystyrene or PIR? Strange as much of the rest of the garage has gaping wide holes that the local pigeons seem to be able to fly through.

Did it tend to come bonded to chipboard or something? Was it T+G or just like PIR panels? I'm wondering how re-usable it might be if I do some remodelling of the garage structure.

It's basically a sheet of celotex with a thin sheet of ply glued to it. Its not T&G

It's not easy/practical to reuse as it breaks up when removing, and you might have bitumen all over the ply

Yep it's a tar/felt roof so I expect it'd be messy to disassemble then.
