does damp cause any health problems

i keep getting colds and i suspect it could be a damp wall , or am i just suffering from the GREAT ENGLISH weather, jokes aside tho i would like to know if it afffected peoples health

it will tend to make your cough worse, may encourage asthma, may cause mould growth. It's generally undesirable. Ventilation will help - cold fresh air seems heathier than damp air.

Your clothes and bedding will be dampand feel cold.
 
i agree it cant be anything but bad for health, i am going to get a roofer in to se where it's coming in, as it's just the outer walls downstairs and up, i reckon it's the roof somewhere, pointing sems ok.
