I have the wall, or free standing thermostat now, so a bit late, but reading the sheet which comes with it, now wonder if any need for the free standing thermostat, and it seems to say it would work just from the TRV heads?

I did not see the hub sold on its own, or with a single TRV head, so assumed it needed a wall/free standing thermostat, once I was indecisive now I not so sure.

I do intend to replace some of the programmable TRV heads with the Wiser TRV heads, well likely only my wife's bedroom, during the day if we get cold we can easy turn one of the thermostats up to start boiler, only over night do we want if automated. And living room two radiators so two programmable TRV heads, likely will swap them around, as the eQ3 allow the heads to link, so they work as one when in the same room, with blutooth.

But maybe the Drayton Wiser TRV's can also be linked? At moment living room has an Energenie and a Kasa TRV head.

You don’t have to use the Wiser room stat, the Wiser TRV will work on its own with a wiser hub.

If you have more than one Wiser TRV in a room then they will sync with each other automatically.
