Does this plumbing quote sound reasonable?

I've just received a quote for a few things I need doing in my Bathroom:
Replacing bath taps with a Bath/Shower mixer.
Replacing the bath panel (old one is cracked).
Installing a glass Bath screen

I'm providing the taps, panel, and screen, but...
The panel will need cutting to fit - it's a 'plastic' (?) one and it will need cutting so it fits the skirting board profile.
The walls are tiled plasterboard so the standard fixings for the bath screen are not going to be the right ones to use.

The quote I've had for this is not far short of £400, which sounds like a lot. Am I right or does sound reasonable?

Thanks!

Get a plumber to fit the taps and shower screen and a chippy to fit the bath panel.

Sounds like a lot to me. What you describe is DIY work, why not use this site to get help on how you can sort it? You could get a good start on what you need towards a decent toolkit for half the price of what you have been quoted.

Does seem a bit much. Is that including vat or is there no vat? I would personally charge £250 labour for the job, obviously that's without looking at it, but assuming it's all straight forward with access etc.
