Maybe eventually - but how often do DNO personnel usually see what's inside their cutout? I imagine it could be very many years before they 'spotted' it!

It would mean that if someone wanted a higher rated supply they could unilaterally DIY it without reference to the DNO.

If someone really wanted to change the fuse for a higher value, they would just cut the seal and not care or worry about breaking the law.
