Main thing is where you can site exam see //www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=154983 finding any college that will let you sit exam only is hard as they have government figures reach and any failures bring down their ratings.

2382 is all about knowing the structure of BS7671 - where things are. I'm convinced that someone with no electrical knowledge could pass if they were well versed in the structure of BS7671. The index is a help but there is more to it than that. As it's an open book exam it's all about knowing where to look for the answer. Often the answer is a straight lift of the words from BS7671.
If you have any electrical knowledge and a good knowledge of where things are in BS7671 you will walk it.
The questions will always come up in the same order as the Regs so the first few will be definitions and the last few will be about caravan sites.
I'm seen some earlier Domlec products - not bad for the price but a search on this forum will reveal links to places on the web with plenty of old exam papers to work through which is probably of more use than someone just re-hashing the big red book
As others have said its a matter of finding places where you can sit the exam alone without having to pay £500 for a three day course that tends to be at least an expensive day and a half doing old papers. Although at least that way you will recognise some of the questions and probably remember some of the answers when you take the real thing. The question pool isn't that big.
