Donald! Where's yer troosers?

Traditional US manufacturers don't even really try to sell their cars here because they know nobody wants them. They are definitely a bit crap. But not as bad as they used to be, by all accounts.
Why would they when you can have BMW, Mercedes, Audi or a reliable Japanese brand.

I think traditional US cars are at more of a Dacia level. Just a bit more basic all round than Euro or Japanese. But they are cheap.
 
I'd probably agree. We had an old Honda for years and it was bombproof. I just find the interiors a wee bit dull.
Ahh now that is the problem, I have a honda XL750 Transalp. Bomb proof 100% reliable but a little drab in features.
