dongle v zip

B

breezer

i have dongles or memory sticks (not sure what you call them) I also have zip discs.

I know the dongles are better and more capacity, but i have yet to fill my dongle with stuff.

more info

with a zip disc, it seems to store information as to what was on it, so i would send it an updated version of a file and it would say disc is full, even though i had deleted previous file, (so in effect nothing on the disc) i found a way round this by formating the zip disc.

question

do dongles do this too?

(as i said not yet filled one up so i dont know.)

zip discs are 100mb

dongle 256mb

I can't remember having that problem with a zip disk, but I haven't used one for ages. The dongles should work as a hard drive, so you shouldn't experience the problem. 256 is considered quite small by todays standards, but if it's all need, then cool.
